What do you guys think about whats going on in Lebenon and Isreal? Its kinda scarey to put it simply. |

i think they should find a peaceful resolution fast, too many people have died, and more will die if this continues. This is a serious matter. |

Okay now that its a debate lets debate. Well, what I'm sick of is that the Media highlights everything Israel does wrong and tries to humanize and vitumize her enemies. What Israel does sometimes is harsh yes, but they aren't gonna take ***** from anyone anymore. This is a fight of bad verses evil, hasbala is the evil one. And its more then the death of 8 solider, kidnaping 2, and launching missiles into Israeli terriotry. Its a fight of pride. I mean if you look at it intellegently, the anti-israeli forces in that area have and contuie to speficly target CILVIANS, things like stores, mallls,playgrounds... the israelis would never porpusely kill cilvians, they only try to attack miliary and terroist strongholds. This is why I believe Israel is in the right here... even if it isn't a very attractive right. |

Yeah its a touchy situation over there. Not much to do other than watch and hope everything turns out alright. They're always fighting over there so hopefully the U.S. won't get involved. |

I dont think this US could even if they wanted to... their forces are spred too thin. It's a crying shame: Some of the guerilla are launching their attacks from inside residentail neiborhoods, so in turn even the israeli intellegence considers these a threat... and destoryies peoples homes. It's a tough choice but... it has to be made. Fortuantily the civilians are being evaucated... which makes israels job easier. |

My sorrow to both isrealy and lebanese citizenz.....I see two factions fighting, but i see casualties in the innocents. I kinda think the isrealy government went to far by scaling a full on bombardment, starting a war, where both sides lose civilians. They shouldv just kept the fighting at the border, between bases, i am truly sorry for the losses suffered by ppl in Isreal and Lebanon, mu condolenses to all of them. |

Israel is not in the wrong here. It is all the countries surrounding it. They are little Jewish country surrounded by a bunch of Muslim countries. Everyone knows that the majority of Muslim's hate Christian's and Jewish people. Not saying all do, but most do, namely the countries surrounding Israel. Israel also just happens to mainly occupied by Jewish people and Christians. Everyone knew the countries surrounding Israel would attack. Also, Israel occupies a very small piece of land. The country used to be very large, but was taken over. The land that is now the Muslim countries, from a Christian stand point, rightfully belongs to Israel and the Jews. But even though most of it was taken away, they didn't become insanely hostile. They really just kept to themselves over there and tried not to anger anybody. And who could blame them? They are greatly out numbered, and really the only people who would go to help Israel out is us since they are out good allies. This was going to happen. Everyone knew and could tell it was. My aunt and grandma just got back from Israel a few weeks ago. They went there on a trip with my church. When they came back, they said, "The rest of the countries are going to attack. Everyone in the other countries are preparing for war with Israel." This is going to be a scary time for everyone. The middle east will most likely band together to try and take down Israel. Lebanon is just the first country to strike. There will be many more. And we will have to go and help Israel because they are very strong allies with us, and since we have troops stationed in Iran and Iraq anyways, it will happen. The only real reason we haven't charged in helping already, IMO, is because of the discovery of Iran having nuclear weapons and testing their missles, as well as trying to rebuild Iraq to a good country. This will most likely become WW3, or at least, this is the start as to what is to come of it. I have now said many times in this post, everyone knew this was going to happen. Israel is a very powerful country, despite it's small size. It over powers all of the middle eastern countries 1-on-1. But when all the muslim countries go to attack Israel together, then it will be in some trouble. It will be outmatched and over powered, as well as out numbered. But then us and England will go to aid Israel. I just hope we don't elect some bone-head in the next election that will not help out Israel. |

You got some facts wrong. Muslims don't hate jews or christians. I am a muslim, and some of my closest friends are christians and jews. In fact it is against our religon to hate people of different beleifs, if you do that then it means you are not considered a muslim, and thats the truth !! The majority of the mulim people, arab too ( arabs consist of christians. jews and muslims) hate the israely government. NOT the people. And they hate the government for reasons other thatn them being jews. That is just rdiculous. Jews, Christians and Muslims are poeple of the book. Torah, Bible and Quran. we are linked, we are of the same lord, and hating each other is extremely frowned upon in my religon.

I didn't say all Muslims did. But when my grandma and Aunt went to Israel a few weeks ago, they heard so much about how the government in the Muslim countries was telling the people there that it was a holy thing to do to kill Christians and Jews. |

Well said Kogu, I really doubt my pair of muslim friends hate me just because I'm jewish (otherwise why would they be my friends!) also i dont hate them. I disagree with them on a lot of stuff but that hardly changes anything! |
